I'm in the middle of writing another big article - this time on heating and cooling your house. What most people don't realize is how MANY different configurations there are; if you include all the combinations, there are over 500 setups!
This is great news for you because you can choose the setup that will work best for your needs, your priorities for installation or operating costs, whether you're renovating, retrofitting, or building new, whether you're in the city or way out in the mountains. Maybe you want the reliability of fossil fuels (oooh, shame on you), or you want full electrification. It doesn't matter - there is a range of options.
